ENGINE VIBRATION/IDLE SHAKE 40 DEGREES F AND BELOW INFO

A cold weather related engine vibration/idle shake may be the result of the front engine mounts. The condition may disappear after the vehicle has warmed at moderately cold temperatures (25-40 DEG F) but at very cold temperatures may never disappear.

This condition may be corrected by replacing both front engine mounts. Part numbers 10029901 (right side) and 10029902 (left side).

1983 vehicles built after the following VIN breakpoints are not affected:

Van Nuys 118973
