Some 1982 Camaro THM 200C transmissions may exhibit a 3-2 and 2-1 coastdown clunk condition. This condition is most noticeable at 5-10 mph.
Beginning with the start of production for 1984, all THM 200C transmission are produced using a new control valve spacer plate with an orificed exhaust to correct this 3-2 and 2-1 coastdown clunk condition.
