Some 1982 Camaro doors may have down stop bumpers which may become disengaged from the door glass sash channel causing the following conditions:
1. Door glass too low - contacting lower edge of outer belt sealing strip.
2. Sash channel roller becoming disengaged from rear guide cam channel.
Should either of these conditions be encountered, replace the bumpers on both doors with new down stop bumpers (P/N 4767527). Install the new bumper to the sash channel using a 10-24 x 1/2" machine screw with a matching lock washer and nut (Figure 1, Section A-A).

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
