Verify that the RH power window is inoperative.

Do the power windows operate normally?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

  1. Disconnect the RH side window regulator motor connector C2.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Connect a digital multimeter (DMM) between terminal A and terminal B of the RF side window regulator motor connector C2.
  4. Operate the RH door lock and side window switch in the UP/DOWN positions.
  5. Test for voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Is battery voltage present?

B+

  1. Disconnect the RH side window regulator motor connector C1.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Connect a digital multimeter (DMM) between terminal B and terminal C of the RF side window regulator motor connector C1.
  4. Operate the RH door lock and side window switch in the UP/DOWN positions.
  5. Test for voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Is battery voltage present?

B+

Test CKT 164 (DK BLU) and CKT 165 (BRN), for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Was an open present?

Test CKT 1001 (DK GRN) for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Was an open present?

Test CKT 638 (PPL) for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Replace the express window down module (part of the RF side window regulator motor).
