Verify that the LH power window is inoperative.

Do the power windows operate normally?

  1. Disconnect the LH door lock and side window switch connector C1.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Connect a digital multimeter (DMM) to CKT 167 (TAN), terminal L and CKT 166 (LT BLU), terminal J at the LH door lock and side window switch connector C1.
  4. Operate the LH window at the RH door lock and side window switch in the UP/DOWN positions.
  5. Test for voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Is ignition voltage present?

B+

  1. Reconnect the LH door lock and side window switch connector C1.
  2. Disconnect the LF side window regulator motor connector C1.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  4. Connect a DMM to CKT 666 (DK BLU), terminal C and CKT 667 (BRN), terminal B at the LF side window regulator motor connector C1.
  5. Operate the LH window at the RH door lock and side window switch in the UP/DOWN positions.
  6. Test for voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Is ignition voltage present?

B+

Test CKT 1001 (DK GRN) for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Was an open present?

--

Go to Step 10

  1. Reconnect the LF side window regulator motor connector C1.
  2. Disconnect the LF side window regulator motor connector C2.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  4. Connect a DMM to CKT 666 (DK BLU), terminal B and CKT 1136 (GRY), terminal A at the LF side window regulator motor connector C2.
  5. Operate the LH window at the RH door lock and side window switch in the UP/DOWN positions.
  6. Test for voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Is ignition voltage present?

Test CKT 167 (TAN) and CKT 166 (LT BLU) for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Was an open present?

--

Test CKT 666 (DK BLU) and CKT 667 (BRN) for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Was an open present?

--

Test CKT 1136 (GRY) for an open between connector C1 and C2 of the LF side window regulator motor, and CKT 666 (DK BLU) between connector C2 of the LF side window regulator motor and S502 for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Was an open present?

Repair the open in the appropriate circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the LF side window regulator motor. Refer to Power Window Motor Replacement .

Replace the RH door lock and side window switch. Refer to Front Side Door Window Switch Replacement .

Replace the LH door lock and side window switch. Refer to Front Side Door Window Switch Replacement .

Replace the express window down module (part of the LF side window regulator motor.
