Did you perform the Power Door Systems Diagnostic System Check?

Verify that the power windows are inoperative.

Do the power windows operate normally?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

  1. Disconnect connector C1 at the RH door lock and side window switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Connect a digital multimeter (DMM) to CKT 1001 (DK GRN), terminal L at the RH door lock and side window switch connector C1 and ground.
  4. Test for voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing in wiring systems.

Is ignition voltage present?

B+

Go to Step 4

Test for an open in CKT 1050 (BLK) or CKT 1850 (BLK). Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Is an open present?

Go to Step 6

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 1001 (DK GRN) between the power windows circuit breaker and the RH door lock and side window switch.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 8

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 1050 (BLK) or CKT 1850 (BLK) between the RH door lock and side window switch connector C2 and G204.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 8

Replace the RH door lock and side window switch. Refer to Front Side Door Window Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 8

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?
