Did you perform the Horns Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Horns

Verify that the fuse opens with the horn switch.

Does the fuse open with the horn switch?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

1. Replace the horn fuse.
2. Disconnect terminal B from both of the horns.
3. Press the horn button.

Does the fuse blow?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Repair the short to ground in CKT 1329 (DK GRN) between the horn relay and the horns. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 8

--

1. Plug in the right horn.
2. Press the horn button.

Does the fuse blow?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Replace the right horn. Refer to Horn Replacement - Right Side .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 8

Replace the left horn. Refer to Horn Replacement - Left Side .

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 8

--

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?
