Verify that the LR tail lamp is inoperative.

Do the tail lamps operate normally?

Inspect the LR PRK LP fuse in the underhood fuse block.

Is the fuse open?

Locate and repair the short to ground in CKT 2509 (BRN ) and/or CKT 2209 (BRN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 10

With the Multifunction Switch (Headlamp Switch) in the HEAD position, connect a test lamp between ground and terminal B of the inoperative tail lamp socket. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 7

Locate and repair the open or high resistance in CKT 2509 (BRN) and/or CKT 2209 (BRN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

With the bulb removed, connect a test lamp between terminal G and terminal B of the inoperative tail lamp socket. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Locate and repair the open or high resistance in CKT 1350 (BLK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the inoperative bulb.
