Removal Procedure
  1. Loosen the clamp securing the MAF sensor to the air cleaner housing cover.
  2. Remove the MAF sensor from the air cleaner housing and position it aside.

    3. Object Number: 312094 Size: SH
  3. Remove the air cleaner housing mounting nut.

    4. Object Number: 293459 Size: SH
  4. Remove the air cleaner housing by pulling upward until the mounting studs are free from the housing grommets.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 293459 Size: SH
  1. Install the air cleaner housing by pressing downward on the housing until the grommets are seated on the mounting studs.

    2. Object Number: 312094 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the air cleaner housing mounting nut.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 10 N·m (88 lb ft).

  3. Insert the MAF sensor into the air cleaner housing cover.
  4. Secure the air cleaner housing to the MAF sensor.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the clamp to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
