Clutch Line to Concentric Slave Cylinder Removal Tool
Removal Procedure
Remove the master cylinder rod from the clutch pedal.
Turn the master cylinder 45 degrees clockwise to unlock the master cylinder.
Disconnect the wiring harness from the clutch master cylinder start switch.
Remove the clutch master cylinder from the dash panel.
Raise the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
in General Information.
Using
J 42371
remove the clutch line from the concentric slave cylinder.
Remove the clip securing the clutch line to the heat shield.
Lower the vehicle.
Remove the clutch master cylinder.
Installation Procedure
Install the clutch master cylinder.
Raise the vehicle.
Install the clip securing the clutch line to the heat shield.
Pull back on the connector sleeve and connect the clutch line to the concentric slave cylinder.
Lower the vehicle.
Position the clutch master cylinder into the cowl panel hole.
Turn the master cylinder 45 degrees counterclockwise to lock the master cylinder.
Connect the master cylinder rod to the clutch pedal.
Bleed the clutch. Refer to
Hydraulic Clutch Bleeding
.
