1. Remove the inner axle shaft. Refer to Inner Axle Housing Shaft and Housing Replacement in Front Drive Axle.



2. Remove the shift cable housing seal (1). Drive the seal out of the axle housing to carrier flange using a punch.

1. Install the shift cable housing seal using the J 33799 .
2. Install the inner axle shaft. Refer to Inner Axle Housing Shaft and Housing Replacement in Front Drive Axle.
