Condition
Some customers may comment that the ABS light is illuminated. Upon investigation, the technician may find DTC 1200 (Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Open or Shorted) or DTC 1203 (Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Open or Shorted) set.
Cause
This condition may be caused by a broken ABS sensor wiring harness.
Correction
Replace the front ABS sensor on affected vehicles. Refer to Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement in SI.
