This is a product information update. All 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban and Tahoe models will no longer have the "Chevrolet" wording on the right rear of the end gate/lift gate as a cost reduction measure. Dealers should not replace this badge as a misbuild under warranty. Also, the emblem has been deleted from the "B" pillar on WT (Work Truck) pickups only.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
