Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 763193 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment.
  3. Insert the key and turn the ignition switch lock cylinder to the ON position.
  4. Access the ignition switch through the radio opening. Use a suitable flat-bladed tool in order to depress and hold the lock cylinder retaining tab.
  5. Use the key in order to pull the ignition switch lock cylinder from the ignition switch.
  6. Remove the key from the ignition switch lock cylinder.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 763193 Size: SH
  1. Insert the key and turn the ignition switch lock cylinder to the ON position.
  2. Align the ignition switch lock cylinder to the ignition switch. Install the ignition switch lock cylinder.
  3. Turn the key to the OFF position and remove the key.
  4. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  6. If the ignition switch lock cylinder was replaced, refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System Components .
