Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 331144 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear compartment lid lock assembly latch.
  2. Remove the rear compartment lid applique, Oldsmobile only. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Applique Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 331143 Size: SH
  3. Remove the rivets.
  4. For Oldsmobile models, remove the rear compartment lid lock cylinder and the shim.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 331143 Size: SH
  1. For Oldsmobile models, install the rear compartment lid lock cylinder and the shim.
  2. Install the rivets.

    3. Object Number: 331144 Size: SH
  3. Install the rear compartment lid applique, Oldsmobile only. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Applique Replacement .
  4. Install the rear compartment lid lock assembly latch. Ensure that the latch is fully seated. This action will engage the locking tabs.
