Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2000 🢒 Alero Export 🢒 Body and Accessories 🢒 Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console 🢒 Fuse Block Replacement

Installation Procedure
  1. Remove the necessary instrument panel end cap. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
  2. Disable the SIR. Refer to Disabling the SIR System .

    3. Object Number: 618384 Size: SH
  3. Remove the fuse block to fuse block bracket bolt.
  4. Pull the fuse block away from the fuse block bracket.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  6. Remove the fuse block from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Connect all the electrical connectors.
  2. Install the fuse block to the fuse block bracket.

    3. Object Number: 618384 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the fuse block to fuse block bracket bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10N·m (89 lb ft).

  4. Enable the SIR. Refer to Enabling the SIR System .
  5. Install the instrument panel end cap. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
