Radio
The following radios are available:

AM
The range for most AM (Amplitude Modulated) stations is greater than for FM (Frequency Modulation) especially at night. The longer range can cause stations to interfere with each other.
In order to reduce the noises like storms and power lines that AM can pick up, reduce the treble.
FM Stereo
The FM (Frequency Modulation) stereo provides the best sound. The FM signals, will reach approximately 16-65 km (10-40 miles). Tall buildings or hills can interfere with the FM signals causing the sound to increase and decrease. In order to improve the poor reception, tune to a stronger station.
All factory-equipped sound systems with a FM stereo radio will perform the following functions:
| • | Switch to stereo operation whenever an FM stereo broadcast is being received |
| • | A STEREO or ST indicator will light on the display. |
Stereo operation is defined as; the radio is separating a stereo broadcast back into the original 2 channels, called left and right.
Multiple Compact Disc Player
A vehicle may be equipped with the Trunk-Mounted CD Changer option. This player is capable of playing up to 12 compact discs continuously.
Rear Window Antenna (U77)
The rear window antenna is mounted above the defogger grid on the rear window glass. This system is able to increase the signal strength and improve the radio reception.
Remote Cassette Tape Player (UN1)
If the vehicle is equipped with the UN1 option, the audio system may have a remote single cassette player mounted to the console.
Steering Wheel Controls
A vehicle may be equipped with the Audio Steering Wheel Controls option. The buttons located on the steering wheel, control certain audio functions.
