Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the right front fascia closeout panel. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 1715293  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the auxiliary lower transmission line to the auxiliary transmission oil cooler (TOC). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  5. Remove the lower TOC line from the auxiliary TOC.

  6. Object Number: 1715297  Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the radiator to auxiliary TOC line from the auxiliary TOC. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  8. Remove the radiator to TOC line from the auxiliary TOC.

  9. Object Number: 1715285  Size: SH
  10. Remove the auxiliary TOC retaining bolts.
  11. Remove the auxiliary TOC from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1715285  Size: SH
  1. Install the auxiliary TOC to the vehicle.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the auxiliary TOC retaining bolts.

  4. Object Number: 1715297  Size: SH
  5. Install the radiator to TOC line to the auxiliary TOC.
  6. Connect the radiator to TOC line to the auxiliary TOC. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .

  7. Object Number: 1715293  Size: SH
  8. Install the lower TOC line to the auxiliary TOC.
  9. Connect the lower TOC line to the auxiliary TOC. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  10. Install the right front fascia closeout panel. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Lower Close Out Panel Replacement .
  11. Lower the vehicle.
  12. Fill the transmission fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Fill Procedure .
