4.6L ( LH2 ) Engine with DTC P0068 and/or P1101 - kw air body calibration ECM filter leak MAF PCM throttle

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

04 Cadillac XLR 4.6L (LH2) engine with DTC P0068 and/ or P1101.

1. Verify that the diagnostic charts for DTC P0068 and P1101 have been completed.
2. If condition still exists, verify that there are no leaks in the air induction system before and after the mass air flow sensor. Air leaks cause inaccurate air flow readings to occur.
3. Install the updated calibration number 12590555 (available in TIS) to correct for DTC P0101 and P0068 in the XLR.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance. This diagnostic approach was developed for the vehicle with the VIN you entered and should not be automatically be used for other vehicles with similar symptoms.
