Removal Procedure

    Important: Do not swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock, "XM Theftlock" will be displayed.

  1. Remove the rear compartment stowage trim. Refer to Body Rear Compartment Replacement in Interior Trim.

    2. Object Number: 1237186 Size: SH
  2. Remove the 3 retaining nuts to the digital radio receiver from the mounting bracket.

    3. Object Number: 1293196 Size: SH
  3. Lower the receiver from the mounting bracket and disconnect the coaxial and the electrical leads from the receiver.
  4. Remove the radio receiver from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1293196 Size: SH
  1. Position the digital radio receiver to the vehicle and connect the coaxial and the electrical leads to the receiver.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1237186 Size: SH
  2. Install the receiver to the mounting bracket and install 3 retaining nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Remove the rear compartment stowage trim. Refer to Body Rear Compartment Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Perform the setup procedure for the digital radio receiver. Refer to Digital Radio Receiver Setup .
