Did you perform the Lighting Systems Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

Do the park lamps operate properly?

Go to Step 3

Go to Tail, Marker, and License Lamps Always On

1. Install a scan tool.
2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
3. With a scan tool, perform the Display(s) Test in the instrument cluster (IPC) Special Functions.
4. Observe the LIGHTS ON indicator on the instrument cluster (IPC) during the Display(s) Test.

Does the LIGHTS ON indicator illuminate during the Display(s) Test and then turn OFF?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 4

Replace the instrument cluster (IPC). Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 5

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

System OK
