The RFA receiver module is located in the rear storage compartment attached to the underside of the rear shelf. The module performs the functions of interpreting the signals from the transmitter and relaying that information to the appropriate module via class 2 bus. The receiver module does not directly control any functions but is a interpreter for the transmitter to tell other modules what is requested. The receiver module is able to differentiate between the various transmitters, and must be programmed to accept signals from both transmitters if one or both are to be replaced.

The module receives battery voltage from the IGN fuse on CKT 540 which goes from the IGN fuse to terminal A of the RKE module connector.

The module receives ground from CKT 1351 from G301 to terminal D (or terminal C if vehicle has AU5 option) of the RKE module connector.

The RKE module sends and receives class 2 bus messages on CKT 1807 terminals B and C (or terminals B and D if vehicle has AU5 option) of the RKE module connector.
