Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement Left

1. Disable SIR. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
2. Remove IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
3. Remove five fasteners from trim panel to IP retainer.
4. Remove PSIR module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Instrument Panel Module Replacement in SIR.



5. Remove two fasteners from straps at carrier.
6. Pull rearward on trim panel to remove.

1. Align trim panel to IP retainer.
2. Install fastener from trim panel to IP retainer.



3. Install fasteners from straps to carrier.
4. Install IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
5. Install PSIR. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Instrument Panel Module Replacement in SIR.
6. Enable SIR. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.

Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement Right

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.



2. Remove IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
3. Remove one fastener near IP cluster at IP retainer.
4. Pull rearward on trim panel to remove.

1. Align woodgrain trim panel to IP retainer.
2. Install fastener from trim panel to IP retainer.
3. Install IP upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System

in SIR.
