Are the PRNDL lamp, radio button lamps or ashtray lamp also inoperative?

Go to Incandescent Lamps Inoperative

Go to Step 3

Check the steering column fuse holder 2A SWITCH Fuse.

Is the 2A SWITCH Fuse OK?

1. Disconnect the dash integration module (DIM) C3.
2. Disconnect the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil.
3. Measure the resistance from the DIM C3 terminal K to the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil terminal B (harness side).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 5

Measure the resistance from the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil terminal D (harness side) to ground.

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 9

Repair the open in the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil or the steering wheel controls.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the short to ground in the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil or the steering wheel controls.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

Repair the open in CKT 1491 (YEL).

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

Repair the open in CKT 450 (BLK).

Is the repair complete?
