Was the entire Interior Lights Dimming System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect the LH front door module (LFDM) connector C1.
  2. Disconnect the LH front power window switch connector.
  3. Disconnect the LH front power door lock switch connector.
  4. Disconnect the memory function switch connector (with A45).
  5. Connect a DMM from the LFDM connector C1 cavity 20 (YEL) to ground.

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Connect a DMM from the LFDM connector C1 cavity 20 (YEL) to the LH front power window switch connector cavity 5 (YEL/BLK).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 4

Connect a DMM from the LFDM connector C1 cavity 10 (BLK/WHT) to the LH front power window switch connector cavity 4 (BLK/WHT).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Replace the LH front door module (LFDM). Refer to Door Control Module Replacement in Doors.

Is the LFDM replacement complete?

Repair the short to ground in CKT 1491 (YEL) or (YEL/BLK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 1491 (YEL) or (YEL/BLK) between the LFDM and S501. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 351 (BLK/WHT) between the LFDM and S500. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
