Was the entire Lighting System Diagnostic System Check performed?

Were the courtesy lamps inoperative for all doors?

Go to Step 3

1. Disconnect the suspect door jamb switch connector.
2. Connect a fused jumper between the appropriate door jamb connector cavities:

•	LH front: cavities A (DK BLU) and D (BLK/WHT)

•	RH front: cavities D (TAN) and A (BLK/WHT).

•	LH rear: cavities A (DK BLU) and D (TAN/WHT).

•	RH rear: cavities D (DK BLU) and A (BLK/WHT).

Do the appropriate courtesy lights turn on?

Go to Step 4

1. Disconnect the suspect door module connector C2.
2. Connect a DMM from the appropriate door module connector C2 cavity to the appropriate door jamb connector cavity:

•	LH front: cavity C (DK BLU) to cavity A (DK BLU)

•	RH front: cavity C (TAN) to cavity D (TAN)

•	LH rear: cavity C (DK BLU) to cavity A (DK BLU)

•	RH rear: cavity C (DK BLU) to cavity D (DK BLU)

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 8

Connect a DMM from the appropriate door module connector C2 cavity to the appropriate door jamb connector cavity:

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 9

Replace the suspect door module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement in Doors.

Is the door module replacement complete?

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

Replace the suspect door jamb switch. Refer to Front Side Door Latch Replacement or Rear Side Door Latch Replacement in Doors.

Is the door jamb switch replacement complete?

Go to Interior Lamps System Check

Repair the open in the appropriate circuit between the door module and the door jamb switch:

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?

Repair the open in the appropriate circuit between the door module and the door jamb switch:

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
