Disassembly Procedure

    Object Number: 311998 Size: SH
  1. Remove the pan head screws (3) from the control valve (2).
  2. Remove the control valve (2) and the manifold gasket (1) from the rack and pinion gear assembly (5).

Assembly Procedure

    Object Number: 311998 Size: SH
  1. Install the manifold gasket (1) to the rack and pinion gear assembly (5).
  2. Install the control valve (2).
  3. Secure the control valve (2) with pan head screws (3).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the pan head screw (3) to 8.9 N·m (78 lb in).
