Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

  2. Object Number: 755977  Size: SH
  3. Remove the duct mounting screw (1).

  4. Object Number: 756009  Size: SH
  5. Remove the duct mounting screw (1).

  6. Object Number: 755971  Size: SH
  7. Remover the adapter duct screws (1, 2).

  8. Object Number: 755951  Size: SH
  9. Turn the left side temperature sensor ¼ of a turn in order to remove the sensor from the duct.

  10. Object Number: 755827  Size: SH
  11. Remove the duct.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 755825  Size: SH
  1. Install the duct.

  2. Object Number: 755971  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the adapter duct screws (1, 2).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the duct screw (1).
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).


    Object Number: 755951  Size: SH
  7. Turn the left side air temperature ¼ of a turn to install the sensor into the duct.

  8. Object Number: 756009  Size: SH
  9. Install the duct screw (1).
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  11. Install the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
