Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 292114 Size: SH
  1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
  2. Remove the seal from around the heater core and the evaporator tubes.

    3. Object Number: 292069 Size: SH
  3. Remove the upper evaporator case.
  4. Remove the evaporator core.
  5. Remove the evaporator case seals.

Installation Procedure

    Important: If replacing the evaporator add refrigerant oil to the evaporator. Refer to Refrigerant System Capacities for system capacity information.

  1. Install the evaporator.
  2. Install new evaporator case seals.
  3. Install the upper evaporator case.

    4. Object Number: 292114 Size: SH
  4. Install the seal around the heater core and evaporator tubes.
  5. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
