Caution: Refer to SIR Inflator Module Handling and Storage Caution in the Preface section.

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System .
2. Remove the inflatable restraint side impact inflator module (2) from the seat (1). Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Side Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement .
3. With seat back panel removed the inflatable restraint side impact inflator module wiring harness (3) will be exposed.
4. Remove the clips that retain the side inflator module wiring harness (3) to seat frame.

1. Install new side inflator module wiring harness (3) to seat frame.
2. Install the wiring harness clips to retain the side inflator module wiring harness (3) to seat frame.
3. Install the inflatable restraint side impact inflator module (2) to seat (1). Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Side Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement .
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System .
