This may also be performed using the manual sunroof operation procedure. Refer to Sunroof Manual Operation .
Important: A new replacement sunroof motor is set to the fully closed and flush position at the factory.
Do not install the sunroof motor at this time.
Hold the sunroof switch in the closed position until the sunroof motor stops.
The sunroof electronics will automatically stop the sunroof motor at the fully closed and flush position.

3.2. | Seat the rear of the glass panel by pushing upward at the rear of the glass panel. |
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
