Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 428787  Size: SH
  1. Lower the headliner in order to access the drain hose connections. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Cut the tie wraps from the drain hoses.
  3. Remove the drain hoses from the sunroof module.
  4. Remove the interior moldings in order to access the drain hose retaining clips. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement and Sail Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

  6. Remove the tape from the drain hoses.

  7. Object Number: 428787  Size: SH
  8. Remove the upper portion of the rear drain hoses from the retaining clips.

  9. Object Number: 258860  Size: SH
  10. Remove the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Left Side and Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side in Body Rear End.
  11. Remove the lower portion of the rear drain hoses from the retaining clips.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 428783  Size: SH
  1. Install the drain hoses to the drain spouts on the sunroof module.
  2. Tape the front drain hoses into position.

  3. Object Number: 428787  Size: SH
  4. Clip the upper portion of the rear drain hoses into position.
  5. Important: When installing the new drain hose tie wraps, position the tie wraps in order to maintain clearance between the tie wraps and the headliner.

  6. Secure the drain hoses to the sunroof module with new tie wraps.
  7. Install the interior moldings. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement and Sail Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

  8. Object Number: 258860  Size: SH
  9. Clip the lower portion of the rear drain hoses into position.
  10. Install the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Left Side and Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side in Body Rear End.
  11. Notice: Use care when removing and installing the headliner. If reusing the headliner lay the headliner down flat on a clean surface. Excessive bending will damage the headliner.

  12. Install the headliner to the roof. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
