Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the upper filler panel. Refer to Filler Panel Replacement - Upper .

    3. Object Number: 130508 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the hood ajar switch (1).
  4. Gently pry the retainers retaining the hood ajar switch (1).
  5. Remove the hood ajar switch (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 130507 Size: SH
  1. Install the hood ajar switch to the vehicle.
  2. Press the retainers to retain the hood ajar switch (1).

    3. Object Number: 130508 Size: SH
  3. Install the hood ajar switch electrical connector (2) to the hood ajar switch (1).
  4. Install the upper filler panel. Refer to Filler Panel Replacement - Upper .
  5. Close the hood.
