J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover

1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
2. Remove the center console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
3. Remove the front carpet retainers. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement .



4. Using a J 38778 remove the 4 retainers from the front and rear carpet overlap seam.



5. Separate the floor vents from the floor ducts before removing the front carpet.

1. Place the front carpet into the vehicle.
2. Work the front edges of the carpet into place under the instrument panel.
3. Install the floor vent into the floor ducts.



4. Install the 4 retainers into the floor pan at the front and rear carpet overlap seam in order to secure the carpet.
5. Install the center console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
6. Install the front carpet retainers. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement .
7. Install the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
