Tools Required

J 38778

1. Remove the seat back trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement .
2. Remove the seat belt post rear cover screws.

Important: Use the J 38778 in order to release the center retainer on the finish cover.

3. Remove the seat belt post finish cover.



4. Remove the shoulder belt retractor. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Driver or Passenger in Seat Belts.



5. Remove the upper front seat belt post cover.



6. Remove the nut from the head restraint.
7. Remove the head restraint and the shoulder belt pulley.

1. Install the head restraint support through the pulley with the larger side of the pulley tapered toward the seat.



2. Install the nut onto the head restraint.



3. Install the upper front seat belt post cover.



4. Install the shoulder belt retractor. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Driver or Passenger in Seat Belts.
5. Install the rear seat belt post cover.
6. Install the seat back trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement .
