Was the entire Heated Seats System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect the heated seat switch connector.
  2. Connect a fused jumper from battery positive voltage (B+) to the heated seat switch cavity A.
  3. Connect a fused jumper from ground to the heated seat switch cavity D.

Does the low heat LED light?

Go to Step 3

  1. Disconnect the front heated seat module connector C1 or the rear door module connector C1.
  2. Perform the appropriate procedure:
  3. • Front: Connect a DMM from the front heated seat module connector C1 cavity D (WHT/GRN) to the front heated seat switch connector cavity A (LT BLU) (LH) or (TAN) (RH).
    • Rear: Connect a DMM from the rear door module connector C1 cavity 13 (PNK) to the rear heated seat switch connector cavity A (PNK).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Is the inoperative LED for the front seat?

Replace the front heated seat module. Refer to Heater Module Replacement .

Is the front heated seat module replacement complete?

Replace the rear door module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement in Doors.

Is the rear door module replacement complete?

Replace the heated seat switch. Refer to Front Seat Heater Switch Replacement or Door Trim Panel Replacement in Doors.

Is the heated seat switch replacement complete?

Repair the suspect wiring:

    • LH front: CKT 1662 (WHT/GRN and LT BLU).
    • RH front: CKT 1686 (WHT/GRN and TAN).
    • LH rear: CKT 1631 (PNK).
    • RH rear: CKT 1636 (PNK).

Is the circuit repair complete?
