Disconnect the front heated seat module connector C3.

Does the seat cool down?

Disconnect the front heated seat module connector C2.

Does the seat cool down?

Replace the front heated seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement .

Is the front heated seat back replacement complete?

Replace the front heated seat cushion. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Replacement .

Is the front heated seat cushion replacement complete?

  1. Disconnect the front heated seat module connector C1.
  2. Connect a DMM the front heated seat module connector C1 cavity C (PNK) (LH) or (PNK/BLK) (RH) to ground.

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 10

Replace the front heated seat module. Refer to Heater Module Replacement .

Is the front heated seat module replacement complete?

Repair the short to ground in CKT 1501 (PNK) (LH) or CKT 1503 (PNK/BLK) (RH). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?
