Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover

1. Move the front seat full forward.
2. Tilt the recliner full forward.
3. Remove seat back trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement .



4. Remove seat belt post rear cover screws.
5. Use the J 38778 in order to release the retainer at the center of the seat belt rear post finish cover.
6. Remove the seat belt post finish cover.



7. Remove the upper front seat belt post cover.
8. Remove the headrest from support shaft.

•	Insert a small flat-bladed tool in the top and bottom of the support shaft opening.

•	Push in on the flat-bladed tool to release the headrest retaining clips.

•	Pull the headrest from the support shaft.

1. Install the headrest onto the support shaft. Apply pressure until the clips engage.



2. Install upper front seat belt post cover.
3. Install rear seat belt post cover.

Important: Ensure the center retainer to the rear post cover is fully engaged into the seat frame.

4. Install the rear seat belt post cover screws.
5. Install the seat back trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement .
6. Reposition the seat.
