Removal Procedure
- With the door open, remove the door weatherstrip and retainers from around the lower door.
- Remove the "B" pillar upper retainer pin.
- Remove the door weatherstrip from the top of the door frame by pulling the weatherstrip from the retainer.
Installation Procedure
- Install the door weatherstrip on to the top half of the door first by:
- Insert the seal-locating pin into the top rear corner of the door frame near the center pillar.
- Insert the seal into the retainer starting at the "B" pillar.
- Working forward, seat the inboard lip of the seal into the retainer and roll the outboard lip into place.
- From the top rear corner of the door frame working downward, install the seal using the same procedure as in step 4.
- Secure the lower half of the weatherstrip to the door by inserting the retainer pins into the holes.
Important: Ensure that the weatherstrip does not extend past the end of the channel. Work any excess weatherstrip back into the channel.
