Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 291901 Size: SH
  1. Remove the window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  3. Remove the three bolts for gear case to window regulator.

    4. Object Number: 291904 Size: SH
  4. Remove the motor/gear case assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 291901 Size: SH
  1. Ensure that the window regulator is in the mid-travel position.
  2. Install the motor/gear case assembly.

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the 3 bolts for gear case to window regulator.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the window motor bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

  4. Install the window regulator into the door. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
