Was the Horns System Check performed?

Go to Horns System Check

1. Disconnect the horns
2. Connect a test lamp between terminal B of the inoperative horn and ground
3. Press and hold the horn switch.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 5

Connect a test lamp between terminal A and battery positive voltage.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 8

Replace horn, Refer to Horn Replacement

Is repair completed?

Go to Horns System Check

--

1. Connect a test lamp between the underhood fuse block connector C1, terminal B12 and ground.
2. Depress and hold the horn switch.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Repair open in CKT 29 (DK GRN).

Is the repair completed?

--

Go to Horns System Check

--

Replace Underhood Bussed Electrical Center (BEC), refer to BEC replacement.

Is repair completed?

--

Go to Horns System Check

--

Repair open in CKT 250 (BLK).

Is repair completed?

--
