For 1990-2009 cars only
Removal Procedure
- Lower the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
- Locate and release the four speaker grill tabs.
- Push the tabs up through the rear shelf panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- From inside the vehicle, remove the rear speaker grill.
- Remove the four retainers from the speaker.
- Lift the rear speaker out of the rear shelf panel.
- Remove the rear speaker.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the electrical connector to the speaker.
- Install the rear speaker into the opening in the rear shelf panel.
- Install the four retainers in order to secure the speaker.
- Align the rear speaker grill tabs to the slots in the rear shelf panel.
- Push down on the rear speaker grill to engage the tabs.
- Install the rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
