Was the entire Headlight System Check performed?

Is the twilight delay switch in an ON position?

Go to Step 3

Go to Headlight System Check

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Connect a scan tool to the data link connector (DLC).
3. Select INPUTS from the dash integration module (DIM) DATA LIST.
4. Turn on the windshield wipers.

Does the scan tool indicate that the Lights are ON when the Windshield Wipers Input is ON?

Replace the dash integration module (DIM). Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.

Is the DIM replacement complete?

Go to Headlight System Check

--

1. Disconnect the dash integration module (DIM) connector C2.
2. Disconnect the windshield wiper/washer switch connector C202.
3. Connect a DMM from the DIM connector C2 cavity B4 (WHT) to the windshield wiper/washer switch connector cavity F (WHT).

Is the resistance less than the specified value?

0.5 ohms

Go to Wiper/Washer System Check

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in CKT 1538 (WHT) between the DIM and the windshield wiper/washer switch connector C202. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the circuit repair complete?
