Important: The knee bolster trim panel must be replaced, not repaired, if there is any visible damage.

1. Remove the driver side sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side or Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
2. Remove the knee bolster trim panel (1) by grasping at the top and bottom and pulling downward to disengage the snap clips at rear of trim plate.

1. Align the knee bolster trim panel (1) retainers to the lower instrument panel (IP).
2. Push firmly upward to snap into retainer bracket.
3. Install the driver side sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side or Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
