Removal Procedure
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
  2. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  3. Remove the seat back trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 295189 Size: SH
  4. Remove retainer clip from the recliner motor end of the recliner shaft.

    5. Object Number: 295194 Size: SH
  5. Slide the recliner shaft out of recliner motor sensor (outboard side) far enough to clear sensor.
  6. Disconnect sensor electrical connector from beneath the seat .
  7. Release sensor from the recliner gear drive case.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install sensor on the recliner gear case (snaps into place).

    2. Object Number: 295194 Size: SH
  2. Slide recliner shaft back through the sensor and gear case.

    3. Object Number: 295189 Size: SH
  3. Install the retaining clip onto the recliner shaft.
  4. Install the electrical connector.
  5. Install the rear seat belt post cover.
  6. Install the seat back trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement .
  7. Install the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  8. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
