Sunroof Does Not Open to the Vent Position

Was Power Sunroof System Check performed?

  1. Turn the ignition to OFF.
  2. Disconnect the harness connector C1 from the Overhead Console Sunroof Switch.
  3. Turn the ignition to RUN.
  4. Using a fused jumper wire, jumper terminal 1 to terminal 2 of the Overhead Console Sunroof Switch harness connector C1.

Did the sunroof vent open?

  1. Turn the ignition to OFF.
  2. Disconnect the Sunroof Control Module harness connector C2 from the module.
  3. Measure the resistance from terminal 1 of the Overhead Console Sunroof Switch harness connector C1, to terminal 7 of the Sunroof Control Module harness connector C2.

Is the resistance within range specified?

0-3 ohms

Go to Step 4

Replace the Sunroof Control Module.

Replace the Power Sunroof Vent Switch.

Repair open in CKT 144 between the Sunroof Control Module and the Overhead Console Sunroof Switch.
