  1. Engine running.
  2. Press RESET TRIP control button.

Does A or B reset to zero ?

  1. Ignition switch ON (engine not running).
  2. Connect scan tool.
  3. Select the IPC inputs menu.
  4. Press the RESET TRIP button.

Does the RESET TRIP Switch input toggle from ON to OFF when button is pressed?

Does the ENG/MET button work?

  1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect the LH DIC switch connector.
  3. Connect a fused jumper between the terminals 3, CKT 376 (LT GRN) and 7, CKT 351 (BLK/WHT).
  4. Ignition switch ON.

When the jumper is added and removed does the scan tool RESET TRIP switch input toggle from ON to OFF ?

Repair CKT 376 (LT GRN).

Is the repair complete?

Check for CKT 351 (BLK/WHT) for an open.

Was there a problem with CKT 351?
