Use a razor blade or putty knife in order to cut the double back tape material while lifting up on the external foot.

1. Clean the exterior glass and external foot with alcohol.
2. Dry the components thoroughly using a lint free cloth.
3. Apply new double back tape.
4. Mount the foot 152 mm (6 in) from the right window edge midway between the antenna gridline and defogger gridline.
5. Press firmly on all four corners in order to ensure proper bonding between the adhesive and the glass.

Use a razor blade or putty knife in order to cut the double back tape material while lifting up on the internal coupling box.

1. Clean the interior glass and coupling box with alcohol.
2. Dry the components thoroughly using a lint free cloth.
3. Apply new double back tape.

Important: The RF connections for the interior coupling box should run parallel to the defogger gridline

4. Align the interior coupling box with the exterior mount.
5. Press the interior coupling box onto the back window using even firm pressure at all four corners.

1. Remove the coaxial cable from the cell phone antenna.
2. Remove the rear sail panel. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
3. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Frame Replacement in Seats.
4. Remove the defogger module ground bolt retaining coaxial cable to C-pillar.
5. Remove rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
6. Remove the coaxial cable from the VCU transceiver.
7. Remove the coaxial cable from the vehicle.

1. Install the coaxial cable to the VCU transceiver.
2. Route the coax cable from the VCU transceiver into the passenger compartment.
3. Install the coaxial cable to VCU transceiver.
4. Install the defogger module ground bolt.
5. Install the coaxial cable to the antenna foot.
6. Install rear compartment trim. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
7. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Frame Replacement in Seats.
8. Install the sail panel. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
