Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 105036  Size: SH
  1. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the tires wheels.
  3. Using a block of wood and a suitable jack, support the exhaust and the rear support assembly.

  4. Object Number: 154308  Size: SH
  5. Remove the four exhaust hangers.
  6. Remove two rear support assembly bolts.
  7. Lower the rear of the support assembly and the exhaust together.

  8. Object Number: 105039  Size: SH
  9. Remove two bolts at the body mount.
  10. Remove the rear body mount.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 105039  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear body mount.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolts securing the body mount.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 51 N·m (38 lb ft).


  5. Object Number: 105036  Size: SH
  6. Raise the support assembly and exhaust.
  7. Install the two rear bolts securing the support assembly to the vehicle body.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 191 N·m (141 lb ft).


    Object Number: 154308  Size: SH
  9. Install the four exhaust hangers.
  10. Install the tires and wheels.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the wheel nuts to 140 N·m (100 lb ft).

  12. Lower the vehicle.
