Mismatched or uneven tires.

Determine the correct tires and correct as required.

Insuffecient power steering fluid pressure.

Determine the correct power steering pressure and perform power steering pump diagnosis.

Refer to Power Steering System Test .

The tire pressure(s) is incorrect.

Inflate the tire(s) to proper specifications.

Refer to Tire Inflation Pressure Specifications in General Information.

The strut mount bearings are worn or binding in the upper strut.

Inspect and /or replace the upper strut mount bearings.

Refer to Strut, Strut Component, and Spring Replacement .

The rack and pinion gear rack bearing preload is excessive.

Inspect and service as required.
